How to copy text from a hyperlink in Windows

It can be pretty annoying copying text from a hyperlink on the internet, because generally you can only click on the link, or highlight the whole thing. This is especially bad when you are tring to copy a coupon code out of a link.

Luckily it’s pretty easy to overcome. Just hold the ALT key as you are trying to highlight the text, and now instead of clicking or dragging around the link, it will highlight the text contained in the hyperlink.
